Don Parsons
REPUBLICAN
Georgia has made great progress over the last twenty-one years. In the election
year 2004, after 130 years of Democrat control of both chambers of the
legislature and the Governor’s office, the people of Georgia had enough of poor
education outcomes, lack of fiscal responsibility, political gerrymandering,
failure to lower taxes and a continuous move towards the socialist thinking of
the national Democrat Party.
I am running for reelection as your State Representative for House District 44
in north Cobb County and Woodstock in Cherokee County because the progress we
have achieved in Georgia over the last twenty-one years will end and be reversed
if the individuals that the Democrat party has on the ballot in the November
election prevail. In fact, the philosophy and policies embraced by the Democrats
of today are divisiveness, higher taxes with higher taxpayer paid spending,
de-funding of law enforcement, open borders, and the list goes on.
It is important for people to be heard and have a voice in the Georgia
legislature by one who sincerely believes in the principles and ideals that
built this state and nation; hard work, education of their children, moral and
social order, individual liberty and responsibility, law and order, the ability
to thrive without government interference, and limited taxation, among others.
